{ Sometimes stillness is the best movement }
This extended Yin class will include a series of postures, with gentle hands-on assists from Tori & Lara (with consent).
Mindful touch can generously assist the body by encouraging a meaningful shift in physical and emotional tension.
To enrich the experience, Lara will chant Vedic mantra whilst you settle into the healing rest of Yin, fully supported in restorative postures.
Vedic mantra is chanted in Sanskrit, a language that carries resonance and vibration to the subtle body, shifting brainwaves and coaxing us towards greater harmony.
By layering your experience with attuned assists and devotional sound, you can expect to feel held, nurtured and at ease in your body, mind and spirit.

Yin to Yang, Stillness to Movement, Inward to Outward.
This two-hour practice offers us an opportunity to explore both dynamic and static movement, breath, energy and insight. Pranayam (breath) and mudra (symbolic hand gestures) will be used to examine the energetics of the practice. Philosophy and meditation are offered as a means of reflection and insight. The result: a vibrant container of connectedness and presence within self, and whole as we are.
WHO IS THIS FOR:
- Those eager for time to drop into the essence of yoga
- Those wanting to inspire their current practice
- Those curious about yoga beyond the physical practice
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- A grounding practice, followed by philosophical insight and contemplation
- Dynamic Hatha yoga practice
- Static Yin yoga practice
- Pranayam (breath) and mudra (symbolic hand gestures) to both soothe and energise our system
- Guided meditation towards deeper awareness
This Hatha Yoga practice incorporates asana (physical postures) and pranayam (breathwork), as well as touching on the philosophical framework of yoga.
A fantastic class for those who want to go beyond the poses and discover how the broader practice can relate to one's life.
