ABOUT TORI
Based in the Castlemaine area, Tori has taught across Melbourne’s Inner West and the NSW South Coast.
Tori did her first yoga class at sixteen and has been practising since. She took her first step into teacher training at nineteen years of age. Over many years of training and practice, Tori has studied Hatha, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga, and meditation.
Commitment to her practice and ongoing svādhyāya (self-study) has been the biggest gateway to Tori’s understanding of yoga. The impact of this path continues to drive her appreciation for this ancient tradition, which continues to serve our ever-changing modern lifestyles…
a reminder to slow down, to allow what is, and to come back to Self.
Tori’s passion for Yogic philosophy, history and practice has shaped her teaching style, which stays honest to the roots of a profound, holistic tradition. She seeks to create a space for her students to experience Yoga as a means of liberation, surrender and devotion. Knowing Yoga as more than just a means of maintaining a healthy body, Tori has experienced its effects on the mind and our connection to spirit. Despite ‘teaching’, Tori will always remain a student of Yoga.
